In 2003, Rhysa decided to venture from her path as an Education Major at West Virginia University and follow her passion into the Beauty Industry. She feels that “if you love what you do, you will never work a day in your life”.

Rhysa is very proud of the growth of Baddhare salon since opening in 2017. She attributes her success to her commitment to education and training in salon business courses. Rhysa will always love being behind the chair but has a new passion for training and coaching.

The fulfillment of coaching Baddhare team members has lead Rhysa into  launching Baddhare Alliance alongside co-owner, Abbie Brown. Baddhare Alliance is a prestige affiliate program for salon owners to expedite their success in the beauty industry. Through this hybrid franchise, Rhysa will be fulfilling her vision to grow the Baddhare brand across the Grand Strand and beyond.

Abbie received her cosmetology degree from Strand College of Hair Design in 2014.  She has since continued her education with Goldwell, DevaCurl, O&M, and Innersense. Abbie specializes in curly haircuts and clean beauty color.

After several years of management and salon business training, Abbie is now the co-owner of Baddhare Salon. She plays a vital role in the day to day operations of the salon and enjoys leading and coaching the Baddhare staff.

Sarah Lane is a graduate of Horry Georgetown Technical College. She is originally from Butler, Pennsylvania and relocated to Myrtle Beach in 2007.

Sarah sparked an interest in makeup at a very young age and now specializes in makeup for weddings and formal events. Over the last few years she has continued her education with Goldwell, Deva Curl, and Clean Beauty products.

This northern girl has a lot of southern hospitality. You will feel right at home in her chair.

Sarah Michaels pursued her passion for all things hair at L’esprit Academy located in the Metro-Detroit area. She relocated to Myrtle Beach in 2021 and resumed a salon assistant position at Baddhare while she awaited her cosmetology license to transfer from Michigan. Sarah specializes in blonding. She is well-educated, experienced, talented at her craft, and will exceed your expectations.

Allie Short is a graduate of Gaston College Cosmetology School. She is originally from Gastonia, North Carolina and relocated to Myrtle Beach in 2019.

Allie specializes in curly, textured haircuts and creative blonding. She is known for her sweet personality and contagious smile. You and your hair will leave Allie’s chair grinning from ear to ear.

Kaileigh Harrison obtained her cosmetology degree at a very young age from St. James High School in 2009. She is originally from Morganton, NC and relocated to Myrtle Beach in 2004.

Kaileigh specializes in color corrections, fashion colors, balayage, and extensions. She also specializes in Bridal hair and makeup. Kaileigh is the Bridal Director for Baddhare and directly handles all of our Bridal bookings.

Danielle White is a graduate of Continental Academy of Hair Design. She is originally from Massachusetts but was ready to bring her skills and passion for hair to the south.

She relocated to Myrtle Beach in 2017. With 12 years of experience under her belt, Danielle is versatile in all things hair. She is committed to staying educated and specializes in blondes, barbering, and vivid colors.

Leslie is originally from South Charleston, WV. She moved to Myrtle Beach in 2004 upon completing her B.S. in Public Relations from West Virginia University. 

After experiencing health problems, Leslie started her clean living journey in 2013. Her clean living passion continues to grow, and she considers it a true privilege to educate our community and Baddhare staff about wellness and lessening their toxic load.

Leslie is the Baddhare Salon Manager and plays a vital roll in the day to day operations with staff and guests. She attributes her business, marketing, and organizational skills from owning Memorable Moments, her successful wedding planning business.

Orlando Martinez is originally from Lorain, Ohio but is of Puerto Rican descent. With over 30 years of experience, he has successfully combined the art of hair coloring and cutting harmoniously. Orlando’s energy and passion for hair continues to strengthen through his many years in the business. When you become a part of Orlandos’ clientele, you also become a part of his familia.

Austin is a graduate of HGTC.  His first year in the hair world was spent assisting at Baddhare Salon where he gained a ton of color and curly hair knowledge. His passion behind the chair is helping people find the best version of themselves through great hair.

Austin specializes is curly hair, blonding, and clean beauty products. He loves being a part of our team because of our continued education, recycling practices, and just the all around good vibes that radiate throughout the salon.

Hailing from the New England region, Keith is originally from Massachusetts but much like a lot of us, relocated to the Grand Strand in the late 90s to escape the blistering cold!
Keith has been with Baddhare since we opened our doors, but before his Baddhare career, he pursued a nursing career and graduated from HGTC. In addition to building beautiful, custom wooden furniture and designs by hand, Keith loves meeting and helping people, which makes him a valuable asset to our team!

Krysta is a native to the Myrtle Beach area. She has always had a keen interest for beauty and fashion.  After graduating from Socastee High School, Krysta chose to pursue a career in the beauty industry. She worked in a salon environment for several years as an assistant before deciding to enroll in Horry Georgetown Technical College Esthetics program.

Krysta is now our first in house esthetician applying her skills in a wide variety of holistic specialties. She is also a BeautyCounter consultant, advocating for clean beauty both inside and out of the Baddhare Spa.

Kelsy was born and raised in the Carolinas. She is a graduate from Horry Georgetown Technical college. She is a licensed cosmetologist specializing in brows and eyelash extensions. Kelsy being certified by NovaLash in eyelash extensions, she is able to offer the highest level of technical and artistic skill. Kelsy takes much pride in safe and healthy lash application. Her ultimate goal is to help you achieve your own style of effortless elegance.

Orlando Martinez II is a true local, born and raised in the Myrtle Beach area. He started learning the art of hair from a young age, being brought up in thr salon by his father, Orlando Sr. Although Orlando graduated from Strand College of Hair Design, he obtained a great deal of his education from Vidal Sassoon for technical cuts and styles, complimented with precise color placement. He enjoys giving clients “their” look, from a child’s first haircut, a fade or transitional greys and lived-in highlights. He is a jack of all trades when it comes to hair!

Casey knew at an early age that she wanted to be a hairstylist. She received her cosmetology license in 2007 and has spent the last 15 years working in Northern California- working with various high end product lines and always striving to continue her education. She specializes in blonding as well as razor cuts and is certified in Brazilian Blowout. She loves making people feel more beautiful than when they came in. Building friendships with her clients is one of the most rewarding aspects of this career- Casey puts so much love and heart into her work that her clients begin to feel much more like family than anything else. She recently left her long-time clientele to move across the country to be near her family. Starting over in a new place is scary but she’s so excited to bring her expertise to the Baddhare salon and start build that family-like clientele here in South Carolina.

Anna-Marie Paray has been in the beauty industry since 2013. After graduating from the College of Charleston with an Art History degree, she traveled abroad and lived in Costa Rica.

Anna-Marie taught yoga for many years but was always passionate about becoming a hairstylist. She was also interested in becoming a therapist but wanted to be creative so she thought being a stylist was the perfect combination! She loves connecting with her clients and learning about them.

Anna-Marie’s favorite things to do are specialty blonding, bridal styling, makeup, and men’s grooming. She is passionate about clean living, creativity, and education. She looks forward to getting to know you and enhancing your natural beauty.

Nichole is originally from Allentown, Pennsylvania. She decided on a change of pace and moved to Myrtle Beach in May 2022 with her two kitties. Nichole has been licensed for 15 years since she graduated from Lehigh Career and Technical Institute for Cosmetology.

Both of Nichols’ parents are hairdressers along with other family members. Growing up in the hair world, she knew there was nothing else she’d rather do. Nichole specializes in highlights and color. Born and raised in South Carolina, Haleigh has over 12 years of experience behind the chair. Creative cutting is her passion from short pixies to lovely long styles, she loves it all.

Haleigh specializes in blonding services such as balayage and foiling. She really enjoys creating a look and color perfect for your lifestyle. As a product junkie, she can recommend a hair ritual that will help you reach your hair goals. Keratin treatments are also a favorite service she loves to do. As a cosmetologist and former owner of a salon and spa in New York, Gia joined Baddhare Salon with a wealth of knowledge and experience. She is passionate about our industry and understands the importance of providing the highest level of customer service. Gia chose to no longer be behind the chair and instead, be behind the front desk. She always has a smile on her face and wants one on yours, too! However Gia can serve you and elevate your experience at Baddhare Salon, she’s up for it.

Jenn graduated from the Aveda Institute of Charlotte in 2018 after working 26 years in the Healthcare industry. Jenn has dreamt of being a hairdresser since she was a little girl. She is literally chasing her dreams by taking a huge leap and changing careers later in life.

Jenn specializes in styling and loves working on brunettes. She also loves esthetics and services clients in the Baddhare Spa.

Katie is a South Carolina native, a unicorn as some may say. She has several years of experience behind the chair with advanced cutting education and a passion for weddings, formal styles and makeup. Katie has an artistic background and originally went to college for studio art, which gives her a creative finesse in hair coloring and corrections. There’s not a lot that Katie can’t do! She loves connecting with people and loves animals just as well. She really cares and listens to what her clients have to say and tries to let them know she is always there for them. She believes that education is key in the beauty industry and loves to create.

Rozafa (Rosie) is originally from a small town in Northern New Jersey, she moved to the area in 2017 and completed her cosmetology training locally at Strand College of Hair Design. Throughout school Rosie began assisting at Baddhare so she could gain even more education and experience and now she is excited to use that all in her chair. Rosie loves all things color whether it be enhancing your natural hair, playing around with fashion colors, or going from brunette to blonde and vice versa. She’s excited by big projects and transformations, and at the end of the day will do what it takes to ensure her clients leave her chair feeling as beautiful as they are!
